Lenovo and Intel unveils kids only Classmate+ PC

All the kids out there! you’ve a new companion the Classmate+ PC a netbook, jointly developed by Lenovo and Intel, aimed at improve learning for school kids. It’s a child friendly netbook that features a 10.1- LED backlit display, houses Intel Atom N455 processor, 1 or 2GB of RAM, 1.3MP camera, 250 GB HDD & 16GB SSD options and runs Microsoft Windows 7 OS.

Other specs includes 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Ethernet, 1.5x 2 speakers, 3 USB 2.0 ports, memory card reader and battery pack to choose from 3 cell to 6 cell options. No! it’ll not be retailed and will be available only in bulk via “qualified education and government customers through Lenovo sales representatives and channel partners” across the world.
