Nokia announces X1-00, a cheap music phone

Nokia today announces its ultra cheap music phone for just €35 ( Rs. 2,200 approx.) aimed at music lovers. The phone features a massive speaker rated at 106phon (a phon is a measure of perceived loudness ) and don’t worry this large speaker will not blow up your ears at higher volumes, as Nokia has modify frequency response to make sound remain undistorted, which is too common in the other mobiles, specially in the Indian market.
It has a 3.55 mm jack to hook it up with speakers for even louder sounds, (or headphones, of course) and the phone comes with three dedicated player keys along with a single-playlist creator, FM, torch, expandable memory of up to 16GB, and battery that lasts up to 61 days.
The X1-00, will be shipped with Series 30 OS and comes with support for up to five phone books, after all it could be your family phone and being so loud a family music player, too. Further, company has promised to make it available in selected markets beginning of April in the color choices of Blue and Orange.
