Acer announces Liquid mt : Android smartphone

Well that’s just another smartphone announced by Acer at MWC2011 and don’t expect it to be blessed with another iconic display. The Acer’s Liquid mt is an android smartphone with 3.6-inch capacitive touch display and supports a decent resolution of 400 x 800p. It is powered with 800 MHz snapdragon processor and comes with Android 2.2 (froyo) but company promises to upgrade it to gingerbread, soon.
The Liquid mt holds a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash and can record 720p HD videos, bluetooth, wi-fi, memory expandable up-to 32GB via microSD and weighs just 135 gms. It’ll be available exclusively from tomorrow onwards on Rogers Canada at the price pint of $49.99 on a 3 year contract while, without contract it will cost you $399.99. It would be the Roger’s first android smartphone to be HSPA+ up-to 14.4 Mbps capable.
