T-Mobile unveils Sidekick 4G, now Android-ed

The successor to the original sidekick is now official, named as Sidekick 4G. The new device features Android 2.2 instead of its old OS though, its swivel display is no more, but is now added with a 3.5-inch touchscreen, a “pop-tilt” hinge, and comes with a five-row QWERTY keyboard. Its built by Samsung and under the hood packs a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor, a 3MP camera on its back, a front VGA cam for video calls and as its now 4G capable it achieves marvelous download speeds of up to 21 Mbps.

The Sidekick 4G is expected to be available in later this spring in two colour choices of matte black or pearl magenta.
