Altek launches Leo, 14 MP camera smartphone

Remember, that Leo smartphone with 14MP camera from Taiwanese digital camera maker Altek is now officially unveiled and will be ready to sale in Taiwan and China later this month. Altek also plans to release the Leo in India and Russia by the 2nd or 3rd quarter of this year.

The leo is the only smartphone that comes with 14MP CCD autofocus camera and touts 3X optical zoom, thanks to its telescopic lens. It’s truly a superior camera phone with multiple photographic abilities, capable to shoot 720p HD videos and comes with Xenon flash. Apart from its camera, it also features a 3.2-inch display, 800 MHz CPU and dual-core image processor, 3.5G (HSDPA up to 7.2 Mbps) runs outdated Android 2.1, but a froyo update is expected.

So, you must be wondering about its price isn’t it? hence, its set for 10,900 Chinese yuan and will be available for pre-order by 18th March.
