Samsung makes its Galaxy SII officially official: Gingerbread, 1GB RAM, dual-core CPU
Samsung today after several leaks, teasers, pre-event release, finally debuts its next Galaxy smartphone, the Galaxy SII (model : GT I9100) at MWC 2011. The most amazing feature of the smartphone as we’ve said earlier is slimmest smartphone yet, just 8.49 mm thick (Sony’s Xperia Arc is 8.7mm thick). Moving on to its processor it’s powered with dual-core application processor, probably, that Exynos 4210 CPU, a massive 1GB of RAM (similar to Mototrola’s Atrix 4G), 16GB or 32GB internal memory – expandable up to 32GB, a 4.3-inch SUPER AMOLED Plus display, and comes with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) on top – We say the world’s next superphone.
The smartphone is blessed with all connectivity options such as HSPA+ 21Mbps, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA 1.5, bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0 OTG. The Galaxy SII will be available within this month to Europe and Asia, no price information is provided yet, but we’ll make you update as soon as we fetch them.
