LG Optimus 2X landing in Europe this March

LG Optimus 2X (LG-P990), the world’s first dual-core smartphone, after making its official debut in South Korea is now headed to 7 European Markets and will be launched within this March. The Smartphone will be available via Vodafone and O2 in Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Netherlands and other European nations. For Germany, it’ll be launched as Optimus Speed, while for Italy it’ll be named as Optimus Dual and a separate high-end model will be available in some countries.
The handset will be launched with Android 2.2 (Froyo) on-board but, the Gingerbread update is promised. The pricing and actual launch date is not announced yet, but it’s previously priced and is already up for pre-order on Amazon.de for €495 after a flat discount of €54, respectively.
